I love weddings. I’ve been a bride twice myself. First time because I thought I should and the second because I really wanted to. But that’s a story for another time…

I love weddings. Where beauty of emotions and the beauty of multiple human talents come together to celebrate something very special.

I love weddings. Where dreams of a little girl come to life. Where women (or men) feel like the queen of their own fairytale.  

I love weddings. It’s when family and friends aren’t shy to say the important stuff because they know how important this moment in time really is.

I love weddings. They are a symbol of hope. Not only for the couple but the guests. The notion that true love can happen and be found. It exists. Really exists. (I met a woman in her 80s once at a wedding with a stack of 5 engagement rings on her finger. I joked, “you have quite the collection”. She said “yes, 4 divorced one dead, but I don’t regret any of them. I celebrate them.” That’s hope for true love right there.)

I love a fresh start. Marriage is this. A line in the sand you step over from girlfriend to wife or boyfriend to husband. To wondering what your future will look like to planning it with someone else. Exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. Like butterflies in your stomach, these exhilarating emotions live and evolve during the countdown from “Yes” to “I Do”.

A fresh start is also a place you can dream up or create anything. My energy and passion comes from knowing (and actually visualizing from the start) a consult with a couple will transform into a beautiful backdrop for precious words, tears, laughter, hugs, and once in a lifetime memories.

People often ask me how I’ve done this job for 20 years. That’s how and that’s why. It’s who I am. The hope maker, the dream maker. Weddings are where my talents shine and where adrenaline pumps thru my veins. Where I know I’m alive and know I’m doing good. Where my existence on this planet matters. I have 100s of happy and thriving past clients to prove it.
