Katy is an exceptional wedding planner. When my husband and I started planning our wedding in Maui, we spoke with every established wedding planning company on the island. We made large spreadsheets incorporating every data point we could gather and debated the pros/cons of every company. It was a particularly important decision for us to get right because we live 5000 miles away in New York City, and I've never visited Maui.

We ended up choosing Katy out of all the companies we spoke with, and it ended up being the best decision we made for the wedding. Katy is incredibly organized, detailed-oriented, and thorough. In addition to these qualities, what set Katy apart was her eagerness to understand our vision and priorities. She then executed them perfectly:

1. Food: I'm Vietnamese and my husband is Australian, so when it came to the food at our wedding, we wanted to serve a high-quality, Asian fusion meal. The vendor Katy recommended worked to customize a menu that was exactly right for us and our guests. After the wedding, the overwhelming feedback we heard was that the food at our wedding was the best our guests have ever had. 2. Decor: I was particularly passionate about the aesthetic of our wedding day. Katy worked with me on every detail of the design to make sure it was exactly what I envisioned. For example, one of Katy's questions was, "I noticed in the picture you pinned, the flowers look like they are overflowing from the vase. Is this the style you want for the centerpiece?" 3. Vendor relationships: Planning a wedding from 5000 miles away was particularly stressful because I didn't get a chance to meet the vendors before our wedding day. However, Katy vouched for every company we hired, and she proved to be spot on in every case. At our wedding, we were blown away by the quality of the services provided and the genuine kindness from every vendor we worked with.

I couldn't be more grateful to Katy for everything she did for our wedding. Many of the guests commented that I was the most relaxed bride they've ever seen. I was able to sit back, relax, and soak in every moment on the day because I knew Katy was quarterbacking all the logistics, both big and small.

Katy was an absolute dream to work with. She made our big day and the weeks and months leading up to it as stress free and magical as it could possibly be.

We live on the other side of the world so I knew planning a wedding in the middle of the pacific and in the middle of the pandemic would be no small feat.

From our very first meeting and all the planning emails, texts, and calls that followed - I felt completely at ease and knew we were in very good hands.

Katy takes the time to get to know her clients' personal tastes and must haves - our biggest request was that we and our guests could feel relaxed and enjoy our beautiful day. She takes all the planning stress out of the process; she has excellent relationships with all her local vendors and only recommends what she truly believes in.

More than once, I was having a hard time narrowing down my options and I was so thankful that Katy shared her suggestions as if she was a best friend who'd known me for years. She even helped me finally decide which dress to wear!

My husband and I both work busy jobs and we are so appreciative to work with Katy we're grateful to have complete trust in her, knowing no detail would be overlooked.

She was such an amazing partner throughout the entire process, and she truly felt like a dear friend by the end of the celebrations.

My wife and I hired Katy to be our wedding planner for our Maui wedding nuptials. We researched planners at length, and even met with a few different planners before choosing to work with Katy. We chose Katy based on her great website, photos and easy-going yet on-point communication style. We felt like she carried the relaxed, kind and unpretentious Maui vibe that we have come to know and love from the island, while still maintaining the mainland quickness and organization that we are used to from living in Silicon Valley in California!

From start to finish, Katy was professional and amazing as a planner. She really understood and respected our vision for a wedding, while still adding her own suggestions and experience to help the whole day come together. She was always willing to have a Skype call whenever we wanted, and our week with her on the island a year in advance to chose vendors was fun and seamless. We were also extremely happy with all of the vendors she suggested, and she was also great about working with the photographer we chose, someone she hadn't worked with before.

During the week of the wedding, Katy was amazing and really came through. She personally delivered welcome bags to all of our guests on the island, treated all of our guests and family so kindly and professionally, and our wedding rehearsal was easy breezy. The day of, she provided everything we needed and I really cannot express how stress-free our day was because of her. Our vision truly came to life under her care, and was even more breathtaking and beautiful than we could have imagined. Every guest was enchanted. The day was perfect from start to finish, and we were so happy and grateful to have such a great planner.

I would definitely recommend Katy as a wedding planner, and hope to use her as a planner again when we renew our vows in 10 years!
